About SPE

While working in non- profit events for a Virginian historic society, owner Lindsey Hocker founded Simply Perfect Weddings and Events in 2008 after earning her wedding planning certification and stepping in as planner and coordinator for friends and colleagues who were taking the plunge. The love of love itself is contagious, it turns out, and so armed with her keen design eye and incredible team Lindsey leads the charge in transforming spaces, orchestrating events, and creating a little magic for her clients.

 As a result, Simply Perfect Events has won numerous awards and been nationally recognized. Lindsey and team have had the opportunity to style for photographers, magazines, and clients alike and have had events published in The KNOT magazine, Vow magazine, and Distinction Magazine, the book Modern Indian Weddings by Sachi Sood, as well as blogs including Style me Pretty, A Low Country Wedding, South Asian Bride Magazine, Maharani weddings, and more and have become the go-to wedding planning team for discerning clients.
