LINDSEY HOCKER

Owner of Simply Perfect Events. Momma, wife, travel addict. Lindsey draws her inspiration from places she’s been and the people she’s met along the way. After starting SPE in 2008 she’s lead her team on event production near and far as well as teams of volunteers for various charities, enjoying making a difference where it’s needed most. Her favorite part of a wedding day is the first look. She loves getting to see the surprise and tenderness between the couple when it’s just the two of them and considers it a privilege to be observing from afar.

When not making things beautiful for her clients, you’ll find her planning her next epic trip with her husband or taking walks and having playground dates with her daughter and dog, Teddy.

MARCIA DEEB

Marcia was previously the HR Director for a large restaurant chain, and used her office skills to take the team paperless and ensure they ran efficiently. She has been a vital part of the SPE team for years now, and is a lead coordinator. Her favorite moment of the wedding day is revealing the reception space to the couple before the guests arrive. Marcia has an eye for details, loves checklists and is fantastic at keeping everything timely.

In her spare time, she’s a mom to four kids, and helps care for three other children as well. You can often find her cooking up something delicious for her large family, chauffeuring her busy kids around, or playing her flute at her church.

ASHLEY MASON

Ashley is a business management graduate from Old Dominion and has been working in events since her ver first job as a banquet server when she was 16. She brings to the SPE team experience working with one of our favorite florists, and management experience from a home building company. Ashley has been organizing weddings with SPE for 8 years now and loves Indian weddings especially. Her favorite part of any wedding day is when the bride and groom are exchanging vows…bonus if they wrote their own! When she’s not working weddings, you can find her going hiking with her two cattle dogs and working on home projects.

JENNA CAHILL

Jenna graduated from Liberty University with a degree in paralegal studies. After pursuing her degree, her love of event management led her to Lindsey, and she joined the SPE team in 2016 where she has been using her eye for detail and problem solving skills to guide brides down the aisle. Through wedding coordinating she has found an affinity for creating lasting moments for her couples. Jenna’s favorite moment during the wedding day is when she can catch a glimpse of the joy, love, and sweet kisses between the newly weds.

When not rocking weddings, Jenna can be found spending time with her husband Sam and two young sons.

CASEY MeDRANo

Casey has been a coordinator with Simply Perfect Events for 8 years. After working with a local catering team, she transitioned to the coordinating side of things and loves bringing all the different vendors together to create a dream-team for clients. Her favorite part of the wedding is the introductions to the reception! The formality is over and everyone is bursting with happiness for the couple, and a great party is guaranteed to ensue!

When not working weddings, Casey can be found assisting women in their birthing experience as a certified Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Holistic Health Coach. (she was Lindsey’s doula!) Casey is a loving wife and mother to three little ones.

ADRIANNe GANT

Adrianne has been a lead coordinator with SPE for 7 years, and particularly loves the color and culture of Indian weddings. She uses her team building and management skills for our fabulous clients that she has gained while working for Capital One. She is great in a pinch and is nicknamed “Lightning in a bottle”. Adrianne’s favorite wedding moment is when the parents of the couple are dancing. She especially loves it when the shoes come off and the dancing takes over the reception space!

When not dreaming up wedding details, you’ll find her crafting all the things (literally, everything!) and serving on a board that supports orphans overseas. She shares 2 teens and 2 crazy dogs with her husband in Chesapeake.

LAUREN MENDEZ

Lauren is a native to Virginia Beach and has known Lindsey for 20 years. She has been a part of the SPE team for 7 years and has also lent her wedding expertise to Silk Bridal Studio helping brides find their perfect gown. Her favorite part of the wedding day is just after set-up, when she can see all the details come to life to create the couples vision.

In addition to being fully engrossed in all the beauty weddings offer, she is a mother to a college- aged daughter and elementary aged son. You’ll often find her taking a break on the beach in her free time.

Ana Frain

Ana has had a passion for event planning since she was in high school planning her ring dances and proms. She later brought that passion to college, organizing university Festivals that brought over 10,000 people together. Professionally, she has 10 years of experience in Project Management and works well under stress and with changing needs. She brings a calm assurance to the SPE team and our clients. Her favorite part of a wedding is watching people enjoy the food and loves it when an event is full of special family/ cultural traditions.

When not working, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and kids, cooking or baking and binge watching a new show (often in her PJ’s!)
